
JESSICA BLAKELYPortfolio Manager
Jessica Blakely began her career in property management with American Property Management in October 2000. She worked as a Recreation Attendant which focused around resident services and activities. She decided Property Management was the field she loved and obtained a position as a Leasing Agent in 2001. She was quickly promoted to Property Manager in less than 2 years. Jessica worked as a Property Manager from a B level 173 unit community to a class A 264 unit community. She was again promoted to Regional Property Manager with American Property Management in October of 2006. She spent 5 years in this role learning the ins and outs of budgeting, overseeing site staff, and working directly with clients. In October 2011, Jessica joined the IPM Co team as a Portfolio Manager.
The time she spent onsite has stood her well in recognizing and addressing property specific issues. She won several awards in her career with American Property Management. These include the 2007 Regional Manager of the Year for highest NOI growth and property profitability, the 2009 Regional Manager of the Year, the 2009 Teamwork Award, and the 2010 Employee of the Year.
Jessica was instrumental in creating and implementing a Regional Development Plan and Mentorship Program at American Property Management. The purpose of this program is to mentor site staff so that they may move forward in their career into a Regional Property Manager role.
Jessica obtained her Oregon Property Manager license in 2008. She furthered her education and skills in property management by obtaining her National LIHTC compliance certification in 2010.
Jessica brings a wide range of experience in property management. The properties she oversaw in her career ranged from 24 units to 264 units, in Oregon, Washington, and California. She has also worked with both conventional and Section 42 properties.
