GWEN BUZAN

Portfolio Manager

Gwen Buzan is one of the newer additions to our portfolio management team and also a native to Oregon. While completing her Associates degree from Mt. Hood Community College, Gwen accepted a job as a leasing agent. Gwen has now been in Property Management for more than 10 years.

During her tenure, she quickly grew from Leasing Agent to Assistant Manager to Resident Manager and finally to Portfolio Manager. Her willingness to take on challenges quickly moved her up the ranks while developing her skills in Section 42 Tax Credit Properties and lease ups of new buildings, as well as building her expertise at conventional properties. She is currently responsible for six residential apartment buildings across the Portland metro area and oversees a staff of eight.

Gwen is currently in the last stage of completing her CAM certification classes, a professional designation through MMHA and the National Apartment Association, and is also pursuing her broker's license.

Gwen is very close to family and spends quite a bit of time with them. She is also a lover of dogs and, if not at work, she is usually in the company of her boxer. Gwen enjoys taking advantage of the Pacific Northwest and is often found at the beach or camping and hiking. She also enjoys exploring the Willamette Valley countryside with friends. Gwen currently lives in North Portland with her dog, Milo.
