MARY DAGGETT

Human Resource and Marketing Specialist

Mary Daggett joined Income Property Management as a temporary employee in March 2001 as an accounting assistant working with income restricted buildings and receiverships. She quickly transferred to a position as an Assistant Portfolio Manager and HR Assistant. During this time, Mary developed the marketing department and assisted in centralizing the company's hiring process, researching and developing the procedures that are in use today. In 2005, Mary accepted the position she holds today as the Human Resource and Marketing Specialist. She has also acted as the Safety Committee Chair since 2003.

In addition to her responsibilities at IPM, Mary has volunteered with Metro Multifamily Housing Authority working on the Marketing, ACE Awards and Spectrum Committees. In 2009, she was the Marketing Chairperson.  In 2010, Mary was elected to the Board of Directors for MMHA.  She is also active with Hands On Greater Portland, an organization that coordinates volunteers with opportunities to give their time to over 400 non-profit partner organizations. She brings this passion for community involvement to residents of IPM buildings by helping to coordinate school supply donations, cooking for building socials, supplying books to SRO buildings, and participating in the Northwest Pilot Project's Annual Walk-A-Thon.

Mary graduated from Portland State University with a B.S. in Communications and a minor in Theater Arts. Prior to joining the IPM team, she worked as an account coordinator for Maxwell PR a public relations agency and an administrative assistant at Cascade Health Information Systems, a computer programming company specializing in computer systems for hospital medical records' departments. In 1999, Mary won a Student Spotlight Award from the Portland chapter of the Public Relations Society of America.
