NANCY HENDERSON

Human Resources and Payroll

A native of Oregon, Nancy Henderson joined the staff of Income Property Management Co. in December 1998. Her current duties include managing IPM's Human Resources and Payroll Department.

Nancy comes to IPM from Harsch Property Management where she began as an assistant property manager. She was also in charge of payroll and human resources for all of Harsch's conventional residential properties. At Harsch, her responsibilities as an assistant property manager included data input such as move-in and move-out information, vouchers, reconciling bills, and reviewing on-site paperwork and expenses. Nancy was with Harsch for 10 years before joining the IPM team. Prior to her work in property management, Nancy was the Parish Administrator for Bethlehem Lutheran.

Currently, Nancy oversees the Human Resources Department, including new-hire paperwork, separation paperwork, benefits, workers' compensation, garnishments, payroll, and bonus programs for more than 250 Hof employees. She helped create IPM's hiring policies, which helps ensure quality employees for our properties as well as establish policies and procedures needed for today's business environment.

Nancy continues to attend seminars and classes on the latest human resource developments to ensure IPM is current on employment practices and Oregon and Washington labor laws. She is also a member of the Portland Metro Payroll Association, a local branch of the American Payroll Association.

Outside of the office, Nancy has worked with the Singing Christmas Tree, a Portland tradition, for almost 20 years and spends much of her free time with her two grandsons.
