JILL C. KEOPPELSenior Portfolio Manager - Residential
Jill Keoppel joined the staff at Income Property Management Co., in March 1998. Jill brings to us both extensive residential and commercial property management experience. After graduating from Susquehanna University, Jill pursued a career in sales. Wanting to make a career change, in 1987 Jill began work in the property management field with Hines Interests, L.P., managing 31 W 52nd Street, formerly known as E.F. Hutton World Headquarters, a Class A office building in mid-town Manhattan. Jill gained valuable knowledge in exterior building maintenance, elevator maintenance, and security and concierge programs. After three years, Jill followed her mentor and went to work for CB Commercial where she gained further experience in working with mid-size office buildings and retail properties as well as buildings in receivership. Included in Jill's portfolio during her tenure at CB Commercial was One Times Square (where the New Year's Ball is dropped!).
Jill left Manhattan to move to Eugene, Oregon. It is at Bennett Management Company that she gained experience with residential properties. As an Assistant Property Manager, Jill worked extensively with Section 8, student housing, multiplexes and Condominium Homeowner Associations.
To further her growth in residential property management Jill moved to Portland as an agent for Norris, Beggs and Simpson. Jill became a site manager and with her extensive background, she was utilized in stabilizing properties. Managing three different complexes varying in sizes from 262 units to 328 units, Jill became well versed in leasing, marketing, preventive maintenance and tenant relations, as well as gaining knowledge in Section 42 and affordable housing.
Currently, Jill's portfolio is a diverse mixture of residential properties from Section 42 buildings in downtown Portland and Vancouver, Washington, to luxury apartment communities in the Portland metropolitan area.
Aside from her management duties, Jill also shares the responsibility for new manager training and the quarterly resident manager luncheons.
Jill finds the time to volunteer with Metro Multifamily Housing Association, and has worked on the ACE Awards Committee for the past five years and the Spectrum Trade Show. In 2004, Jill served as co-chair for Spectrum, which saw a record year in attendees and vendor participation.
Jill is a licensed Real Estate Agent with the State of Oregon and also has plans on pursuing her CPM® designation.
