
LARRY SWEEK, CPM®Branch Manager / Eugene Portfolio Manager - Commercial / Residential
Larry Sweek, Certified Property Manager®, heads our Eugene management office. He brings 22 years of direct property management experience to his position in Eugene.
Larry is an Oregon native and a graduate of the University of Oregon. After obtaining his degree, Larry coached and taught high school for a number of years. In 1981 he entered the property management field where he has remained ever since. In the mid-eighties, he obtained both his Oregon and Washington State Real Estate Broker Licenses.
Larry has a well-diversified background in property management. He has worked with a wide range of clients from large institutional investors to individual owners. During his career, he has directed the operation of properties covering several states including Oregon, Washington, Idaho, California, Texas, and Arizona. He has been responsible for the supervision of 9,000 units and 8 property managers. Additionally, his scope of experience extends to new construction, renovation, and leasing. Larry is presently responsible for over 500,000 square feet of office, retail, and industrial space, as well as several residential properties located in Eugene and Salem.
As a member of Metro Multi-Family Housing Association, Larry is on the Eugene Executive Committee, which is developing a local chapter in the Eugene/Springfield area. Larry is also an active member of the local IREM chapter. While in Portland, he was on the MMHA "Hot Line" committee. His duties included answering questions from both owners and residents concerning issues related to fair housing and landlord/tenant law.
Larry's relocation to the Eugene area from Portland has allowed him to better serve the needs of IPM's Eugene management portfolio. His emphasis is to build a close working relationship with present and future clients as well as establishing a rapport with local business leaders. One of Larry's strengths is his total commitment to achieving our owners' immediate and long-term goals and investments.
