
MARSHA L. SWEEKPortfolio Manager
Marsha Sweek has been involved in property management since she began her career in 1977 in Columbus, Ohio, at a small real estate/property management company. After relocating to Seattle, Washington, in 1978, she worked for a large company specializing in subsidized housing. Her portfolio averaged 1,000 units ranging from Billings, Montana, to Lincoln City, Oregon. In 1988, Marsha joined Lincoln Property Company in Bellevue, Washington, one of the nation's largest developers of multi-family housing. Her portfolio consisted of Class A apartment complexes ranging from 120 units to 450 units. Marsha worked with the development, building and leasing up of 3 of the complexes in her portfolio.
In 1992 Marsha relocated to the Portland, Oregon, area and joined the commercial management division of Norris and Stevens Realtors. While employed there, Marsha oversaw the management and operation of more than 75,000 total square feet of office, warehouse and shopping center properties. In 1997, Marsha was offered the opportunity to work with RREEF, a worldwide pension fund advisor, and took charge of an apartment portfolio of five Class A apartment complexes, totaling 1,200 units, located in Seattle, Portland, and Northern California.
In 1998, Marsha and her husband relocated to Eugene, Oregon, where they joined the Eugene branch of Income Property Management. Marsha currently oversees the office administrative duties, staff, and directly manages four of the properties in the branch portfolio. She is also responsible for Hof Investigations, IPM's internal tenant screening department.
